  • Camarilla
  • Luminary Elder
  • Patriarch of House Silanus

  • Confirmed, Established, and Privileged from Elder

Originally hailing from Rome, Agathon is rumored to be one of the senators that assassinated Caesar on March 15. Through out history he can be found in locations where a civilization is in decay or is collapsing. It is said that in the 1400s he was the cause for the Greenland Viking settlements collapse as well as the decline of the civilization on Easter Island. Whatever the truth is, his presence is often the herald of an greater end game for where ever he is.

Agathon is generally dressed in modern clothing consisting of dark jeans and a leather jacket. He does not sport any attire that would harken back to his Roman roots. He wears a pair of glasses and a single wedding ring from a bride he never speaks of.

  • Has assassinate every Prince in every Praxis he has ever lived.
  • Secretly working with the Sabbat to destroy the Camarilla.
  • He is actively attempting to wipe out all the Tremere.
  • He has a secret Tremere lover.
  • The Tremere killed someone important to him, perhaps his wife, and now he wants them all dead.
  • He despises House Asher and all those that ally with it.
  • The reason he has such rage against the Tremere and the Ventrue is because they represent something he does not. Civility.

  • “They’re dead. They cannot distract you with fleeting color and life. Look at the structure, the layering, the levels and groupings. The worth of a thing lies in its bones.”
  • “He has excellent taste in books.” - Opal Haynes
  • “Friend or Enemy, he is family, and I will fight for my family until my last breath.” - Mila Rurik
  • “He is ancient, and behaves as ancient vampires do. Only a fool would expect to understand the purpose of his actions.” - Aleksandr Zima
  • "I have it on good authority that one Agathon Ramses Silanus of the Clan Brujah, Patriarch of House Silanus, has seen fit to publicly threaten Elder Saharat of Clan Tremere, Progenitor of House Saharat, Prince of Rahleigh." - Peter Fredrickson, Harpy of Dallas, TX
  • "You can see the brute in the way he flicks his wrist. The fiend exposes itself via his posture. The beast? Revealed in the edges of his smile. I do not think on him––except when I think on pleasing things." - Anaïs Palomer
  • "Good old Agathon. If he truly wishes to continue this ancient feud, I will gladly give him his own personal Carthage." - Gaius Cornelius Scipio

Email and Elders

I know others have talked about this. I just wanted to post up my personal policy.

I play an elder. He is stupid old. I want to enforce setting without crippling my RP or connection to the national game. So here is my compromise.

I have a linage and I will email any family member directly or over our house email list. Everyone else gets a physical letter by US mail. If you do not want to receive a physical letter in the mail because you do not want to give out your address, I understand and accept that. To those people, I will compose an email and save it to my drafts folder. It will then be sent out 9 to 14 days later so it would arrive about the same time as a physical letter (give or take) and it will have an OOC intro of being delivered by mail/currier. My PC will never send an email to someone outside of his direct family. If it is not possible to mail your PC a response because you live in a place without an address, then you will not get a response. I will not respond to email any faster.

If someone proxies in to visit my PC an email scene will progress normally because the characters are physically standing there talking. But any mail will take time if you want to talk to my PC directly.
