Bristol Masquerade

BristolDecal1.jpg

Camarilla

Bristol is enveloped in the hills of South West England, straddling the River Avon. Its history grounded in roots from centuries past. Now one of the largest cities in England, it has grown into a cultural hub, developing its own distinctive identity. The city has seen much, from early Iron Age forts, Roman villas to the starting place for the exploration of mainland North America.

In modern times it has risen to one of the largest cities in the South of England, a place for inspiration mortal and immortal alike. The City is a meeting place for Camarilla members to gather within the City and for Independents and even Anarchs allowed to have their voices heard by those of power and influence within the Ivory Tower.

Now the City of Bristol has become a shadow of itself, crime and corruption rife as the city gathers itself. None remain untouched by the Red Star, even now minds wonder if the time of horror has truly passed. A father weeps for the memory of his son, still unable to grasp or even imagine why he did the things he did. ‘What is the truth?’ This is a question whispered on the streets, minds seeking answers to questions that they do not yet understand.

What is common in all, from the common street thug to those that walk the highest halls of power; that there is a reckoning to come.

The Primogen

The Primogens’ main authority is to socially monitor, reward, or punish their clanmates within the domain. Primogen carefully watching their peers to ensure against abuse of the office’s powers. Primogen who boost the prestige of their clans undeservedly and get caught will certainly receive backlash from the Harpy.

Primogen speak for their clans during Primogen meetings and at formal court. In modern nights, the Primogen Council acts as an advisory council to the Prince. Traditionally, the Primogen Council is drawn from the most influential member of each pillar clan of the Camarilla. Occasionally, a Prince might offer an influential member of a non-pillar clan a place on the council. This is unusual, but is not considered scandalous, if said Primogen is powerful and seen as a benefit to the Ivory Tower. However, should this unusual Primogen fail, the Prince pays the political price in terms of scandal from the Harpies.
