Lineage Name: Il Calderari
Origin: 15th Century Venice
Sect: Independent Alliance
Odd. Creepy. Touched. Terrifying.
The lineage of Il Calderari is the infamous house of necromancers, loremasters, and death scholars, hailing from the Golden Age of Venetian prosperity and wealth, when La Serenissima ruled large parts of the eastern Mediterranean.
The translation of the name is the "cauldron makers," heralding the dark mystical experiments of this lineage. This macabre, odd, and eccentric branch of La Famiglia revel in their aptitude for the occult, lores, and necromancy.
The Giovanni largely leaves this lineage to their task of pushing the boundaries of necromantic experimentations and occult rituals, approaching them when requiring their expertise, advice, and knowledge. Younger members of the lineage, while usually powerful necromancers in their own right, also pursue weath and power through smuggling, business, and banking in the traditions of Venice as opposed to the ways of Sicilian and Neapolitan crime lords.
The majority of this family is currently situated in the North Central and western Great Lakes regions with a few members in important trade and commerce hubs in other regions.
