Notable Traits: Devout follower of Path of Heaven

God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.
He teacheth my hands war; so that a bow of bronze is bent by mine arms.
Thou has also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
I have pursued mine enemies and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
2 Samuel 22:33-22:39
Once a born again Christian, in his mortal life he eschewed the hopes of becoming one of the great evangelists for the opportunity to bring more of the lost flock to pasture. A devout believer, he strayed often from his small church to the darker places of the world, shady bus stops and truck stops , inner cities and the likes to preach for those lost. This inevitably met him with who would become his sire, a Salubri on the path of humanity who felt moved by his heartfelt attempts at helping them find safety and health before preaching his cause. The Painful embrace in the back of an abandoned shipping container may have seemed dark and dingy to most but for Otto he felt closer to God.
The explanation of the curse of Caine to him was affirmation of his beliefs, and proof that God had chosen a higher purpose for him. It wasn't long into the 90s before his beliefs crossed paths with that of Noddist who taught him all he could. Quickly he learned of the Usurpers, The Sword of Caine and how the Salubri ( in his opinion) reflected a lost tribe among the Cainites. He continued his study in peace and quiet feeding from those willing to help him become closer to God as acts of repentance for their horrible sins of the past. This was until 1999 and the formation of the Salubri Antitribu. The Sabbat represented the lost flock he had always been looking for, those given the curse of Caine and seeking retribution from those who propagated it. He quickly became devout, learned of the rituals of the Sabbat and began practicing them.
The Sabbat in Otto's opinion is the opportunity to right many wrongs. Their belief in Caine and the birth of the curse means they may be saved and repent for the Father. Their hatred of blood slavery, and thirst to slay those whom avoided God great judgment (the Antediluvians) is just. Their practices are those of people who have lost their way, but it is the duty of the Shepard to find the way for his flock, not for his flock to know the way their own. For this reason he has joined the Order of St. Blaise despite his obvious inhumanity, offering to be the stick necessary to threaten those who would defy the silence of the blood.
His nomadic pack was destroyed in 2017 after an unfortunate encounter with a tribe of werewolves. The two remaining members, himself and Ursula Gaida retreated to the closest Bastion of the Sabbat, Outpost 29.
