Physical Description

Velya is a forty-year-old Russian man.

Brief History

Also known as the Vivisectionist, Velya is an Elder of the Sabbat and a fiend of exceptional power and enlightenment in the Path of Metamorphosis. He was one of the main leaders of the Tzimisce during the Anarch Revolt, and the Sabbat's mightiest Koldun. He is also a walking lesson in the dangers of embracing too young, for his favorite childer, a young woman known then as Elaine Cassidy, lost herself to the beast shortly after her embrace. His mastery of Vicissitude is so strong that he was able to merge himself with her. In recent nights, there is no sign of Elaine and Velya will not discuss the situation. He is prone to long stretches of silence now, sometimes lasting weeks.

Current Status

Velya’s location is not currently known. He may have returned to Russia in order to continue his studies and experimentation in relative isolation, but it is just as likely that he is in New England, Elaine’s home..
