Wulfgar "the Reaved"
A tall and brawny man, Wulfgar still prefers the heavy furs of his native Iceland, even if he no longer feels the cold. His dirty blonde hair is long enough that it falls into his eyes, and his beard hides the softness of his round features. Lines of worry and hardship mark his forehead and eyes, and his callused hands show that even in life, he was a warrior.
Born and raised in Iceland, Wulfgar lived his life as a warrior and sailor. His sire raided his Iceland village for blood and embraced Wulfgar out of spite, leaving him the lone “survivor” of his village. For many nights, Wulfgar lived like a beast and eventually left Iceland, traveling across medieval Europe and to learn from the other Damned, determined to conquer the animal within him, but refused to be embroiled in politics. In Scandinavia, he encountered the Northern Lights. In the patterns of the sky and the endless nights he finally found peace. He proclaimed himself as a protector of several villages who gave him their blood in exchange for ghouldom. As civilization encroached on his territory he retreated until he could go no further north. The night he abandoned Scandinavia to wander he had a vision of all manner of strange machines and tides of humans. He would come to realize that this was a vision of the damaging effects that expanding civilization would have on the natural world. As civilization continued to expand he began to fall behind the curve and realized that he would need to do something in order to combat the growing tide of technology and preserve the old natural ways. It is not known if he ever settled again, but he is almost never too far from areas where the Northern Lights are visible.
Wulfgar has not been sighted in the last few hundred years. No one knows if he actually went to torpor or not.
