Appears to be a handsome young Greek man dressed in the latest easy-going, affluent trends.
Zarathustra is a Lasombra Methuselah who remains unaffiliated with any Sect. After his embrace and a mortal lifetime's worth of wandering, he returned to his hometown of Antioch and set about protecting and improving it, tending to it as his sole interest to this day in its existence as the modern city of Anktakya, Turkey. Like so many other Methuselahs, he has survived every Sabbat effort to destroy him through a combination of prudence and good luck. He allowed his lineage to take part in some Sabbat efforts if they wanted to, and was not above bribery and intimidation to direct war parties at other targets. When the Crusades brought invading armies through his city, he learned enough about mortal politics and religion to effectively direct his childer to re-route marauding hordes elsewhere. When Ottoman forces overwhelmed Turkey’s western shores, Zarathustra and his childer studied Islam and learned how to help their favored mortal families adjust. When Attaturk's nationalism brought Turkey into contact with the Western powers, Zarathustra learned the language of imperialism and oversaw a combination of diplomacy and covert manipulation that protected his city, albeit at the cost of leaving other parts of Turkey vulnerable to exploitation.
Zarathustra considers himself beyond the concerns of the Sabbat and the Antitribu, though he is held in esteem within the ranks of the Clan and has been known to sit on Courts of Blood from time to time. The issues in Syria have bled over into his domain, and while there are numerous mortal refugees in the city, so far he has not allowed any additional vampiric residents.
